Startup Of The Week: Wakeo

Wakeo's Co-founders

The global supply chain is in crisis due to COVID-19 issues and the war in Ukraine. Ports are snarled. Around 70% of ships are delayed, making it hard to know when merchandise will arrive and to honor customer contracts.

Wakeo is on a mission to alleviate that stress. It leverages a worldwide network of hundreds of sources including customs offices, shipping lines, airlines, trucking, train, and barge companies, enterprise resource planning and transportation management systems, satellites, terminals, and IoT devices to provide corporates with real-time visibility and tracking for overseas multimodal transport. The AI-powered platform integrates multiple data sources to provide estimated time of arrivals (ETAs), helping corporates to anticipate disruptions and plan optimal routes.
