Startup Of The Week: Builder.ai

Builder.ai, a no-code app development platform, uses human-assisted AI to help SMEs and large corporates build apps up to 6x faster and up to 70% cheaper than traditional human teams. Customers include Pepsi, Henkel, BBC, the Indian Army and Virgin Unite.

Low-code/no-code development platforms like Builder.ai’s are types of visual software development environments that allow people without technical backgrounds to drag and drop application components, connect them together, and create mobile or Web apps.

While low-code and no-code application development is not new, the combination of digital disruptions and hyperautomation is leading to rising demand, according to Gartner. In fact, low-code and no-code applications are quickly becoming the technology of choice for companies, according to the research and consulting firm. It predicts 70% of new applications developed by organizations will use low-code or no-code technologies by 2025, up from less than 25% in 2020.
