French startup Sweep’s platform is designed to give companies a view of carbon emissions internally and across their supply chains. It is one of a growing number of startups specializing in this area. Sweep’s differentiation is the founding team’s expertise in business intelligence. “Reducing emissions is a data problem and a network problem,” says CEO Rachel Delacour. “The challenge is to connect all the information systems of a very large ecosystem and then augment all that data collection with the right carbon knowledge.“
