China-based Points Technology, a World Economic Forum 2019 Technology Pioneer, offers privacy-preserving computation that makes data usable but invisible to collaborating parties. Use cases include financial services, marketing and research. It was one of three companies that demonstrated ways for new ecosystems to use technology to securely leverage data during a December 15 virtual demo day organized by the Forum. The demo day is part of a larger effort by the Forum, under the umbrella of its “Shaping the Future of the Digital Economy and New Value Creation” program, to act as a catalyst for new forms of business collaboration and innovation.
