Elroy Air is developing an autonomous vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft that can carry up to 500 pounds of cargo and doesn’t need a pilot or an airport to land or take-off. It is one of a number of young companies developing unmanned aircraft to help companies, humanitarian organizations and the military deliver goods more efficiently.
