Startup Of The Week: QiO Technologies

QiO Technologies, an AI-powered  sustainability tech start-up, helps energy-intensive businesses to deliver rapid reductions in greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) and energy costs. By applying its AI optimization technology in sectors ranging from automotive, steel, glass, cement, oil and gas, data centers and telecoms, the company says it has delivered up to 20% savings on energy and maintenance costs and reduced GHG emissions by up to 10%.

 Customers include telecommunications provider BT which is using it to reduce energy consumption at its global data centers, Rolls-Royce, which is using the UK scaleup’s technology to optimize maintenance repair on more than 6000 jet engines, and brick manufacturer Forterra which is applying the technology to its kilns with the aim of reducing both gas consumption and its GHG emissions.
