3YOURMIND, a member of the World Economic Forum’s global innovators community, uses AI to help manufacturers scale their use of 3D printing. The Berlin-based start-up, which raised a $5.5 million round this week, has secured contracts with over 50 enterprise customers in various industries, including automotive, oil and gas, utilities, logistics and defense. Its customers include the French Army, ERPO, a French company that, among other things, produces 3D printed mascara brushes for Chanel, and BMW Group, which is testing its technology to create a fully automated production line with 3D printers and processing machines.
